The United Grand Lodge of England
The United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) is the governing body of Freemasonry in England, Wales, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Districts overseas. The website contains a wealth of information including; What freemasonry is; Why you might want to become one; How to become one; The history of Freemasonry; UGLEs objectives and governance structure and many other resources.
Freemasonry is split into administrative units by Province. Crane Lodge is within the province of East Kent. The provincial website continues many of themes found in the UGLE website but with an East Kent focus.
